Cancellation & refund policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
DRAFT — pending legal review (PACTA JURIS). Not yet in force.
1. How cancellation tiers work
Each charter listing carries one of three cancellation tiers, chosen by the operator and shown on the listing before you book. The tier that applies to your booking is the one displayed at the time of confirmation. All deadlines are measured to the scheduled departure date and refer to the charter price paid.
2. Flexible
Full refund for cancellations made until 30 days before departure. 50% refund for cancellations made until 14 days before departure. No refund after that.
3. Moderate
Full refund for cancellations made until 60 days before departure. 50% refund for cancellations made until 30 days before departure. No refund after that.
4. Strict
50% refund for cancellations made until 60 days before departure. No refund after that.
5. Force majeure
If the charter cannot take place due to events beyond the reasonable control of either party — such as severe weather rendering departure unsafe, natural disaster, war, official travel bans or port closures — the booking may be cancelled by either party without penalty. In that case the renter receives a full refund of amounts paid, and neither party owes further compensation. Where possible, the parties may agree to reschedule instead of cancelling.
6. Changes & contact
