Review policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

DRAFT — pending legal review (PACTA JURIS). Not yet in force.

1. Two-sided reviews

After checkout of a completed charter, both sides may review each other: the renter reviews the vessel and operator, and the operator reviews the renter. Only parties to a booking completed through the platform can leave a review — reviews are always tied to a real charter.

2. Window & publication

Reviews can be submitted within 14 days of checkout. To keep them honest, reviews are published simultaneously: neither party sees the other’s review before writing their own. Both reviews are published once both have been submitted, or when the 14-day window closes — whichever comes first. After the window closes, no further reviews can be submitted for that booking.

3. No editing after publication

Once a review is published it cannot be edited. This keeps published reviews a reliable record of the experience at the time. If a review contains a factual error, contact us and we will assess it under the removal criteria below.

4. Moderation rules

Reviews must relate to the booking and must not contain personal data of any individual (such as phone numbers, email addresses or home addresses), discriminatory content of any kind, threats or harassment, obscene language, advertising, or content unrelated to the charter. Reviews that breach these rules will not be published or will be removed.

5. Removal criteria

We remove reviews that violate the moderation rules above, that are demonstrably fake or written about a booking that did not take place, that were exchanged for payment or other incentives, or that we are required to remove by law or court order. We do not remove reviews merely because they are negative, and operators cannot pay to have reviews removed.

6. Changes & contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the site. Questions? Contact info@yachtlisting.com.
