Greek Shipyard Cosmos Explorer 165

Overview

This 50m+ explorer yacht project represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a partially completed superyacht and bring it to completion according to your own vision and operational needs.

Built on a robust and proven platform, the yacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, ensuring durability, safety, and outstanding performance for long-range cruising. Designed as a true expedition vessel, she offers impressive autonomy and is capable of transoceanic voyages, making her ideal for owners seeking exploration in remote destinations.

The project is currently in an unfinished stage, allowing the future owner full flexibility to customise the interior layout, accommodation configuration, and technical systems. The yacht has been designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 cabins, with ample crew areas to support extended cruising.

With a beam of approximately 9.5 metres and a gross tonnage of around 700+ GT, the yacht provides generous interior volumes and expansive deck spaces.

The exterior concept follows modern explorer yacht lines, combining functionality with contemporary aesthetics, while the onboard layout is designed to maximise both indoor comfort and outdoor living. Large deck areas allow for multiple lounge zones, al fresco dining, and potential installation of additional features such as a helipad, gym, beach club, or tender storage areas, depending on the owner’s preferences.

Powered by twin diesel engines, the yacht is expected to deliver a cruising speed of approximately 12–13 knots and a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles, making her ideal for long-distance cruising and worldwide exploration.

This project is particularly attractive for buyers seeking a cost-efficient entry into the superyacht market, a reduced build timeline compared to a new construction, full customisation flexibility without starting from zero and a strong platform for a commercial charter or private expedition yacht

Overall, this unfinished explorer yacht project combines engineering reliability with design freedom, offering a unique chance to create a fully bespoke superyacht tailored to your exact specifications.
